Acoustical Door

Solid wood frame, heavy duty hinges, studio grade acoustic seals, soundproof core. The Brooklyn Door™ bridges the gap between off-the-shelf pre-hung doors and prohibitively expensive soundproofed doors.

Viscoelastic Core

A custom gypsum/viscoelastic assembly makes up the door's soundproof core. Taking sound vibrations and converting them to heat the door's core is what separates The Brooklyn Door™ from standard solid core doors.

Studio Grade Acoustic Seals

Pre-hung doors come standard with acoustic frame seals and an integrated mortised automatic door bottom which raises as the door is opened and drops to seal as the door is closed. Stand-alone retrofit doors can come with a mortised or surface mounted automatic door bottom.

Custom Finishes Available

All doors come standard as solid slabs with a luan wood veneer. Custom finishes including molding details and pre-painted options are available upon request.
